Compliance & Sustainability

Yes. CleanMii is fully licensed by the National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) for waste collection, transportation, and disposal. We comply with all Kenyan environmental regulations, including the Environmental Management and Coordination Act (EMCA).

Sustainability is core to our mission. We maximise waste diversion from landfills through multi-stream recycling, composting organic waste, and partnering with certified recycling facilities. We provide monthly waste reports so you can track your environmental impact and diversion rates.

Yes. For commercial and industrial clients, we provide full compliance documentation including waste transfer notes, disposal certificates, and annual waste audit reports. This is particularly important for regulated industries such as healthcare and manufacturing.

Recyclable materials are sorted at our processing facilities and sent to certified recycling partners across Kenya. Paper and cardboard are repulped, plastics are processed into pellets, metals are smelted and reused, and glass is crushed and remade. Organic waste is composted and used in agriculture.
